Farmer Engagement and Activities
Farmer engagement activities are available to support farmers in adopting the OFCAF BMPs. By attending these events, farmers can connect, learn, and share knowledge to help apply these practices on their farm.
Activities include:
- Field days & farm demonstrations
- Workshops & seminars
- Travel bursaries to attend related off-island events

Professional Training
Agrologists working and residing in Prince Edward Island are eligible to receive financial support to build expertise and support BMP adoption in PEI’s agriculture sector.
The agrolgist bursary is available to support training opportunities, including courses and conferences. To qualify, the training must align with one of OFCAF’s three BMPs. The bursary covers registration, travel, and accommodation, but does not include food. Applicants are required to complete one knowledge transfer activity with the PEI Federation of Agriculture.
