The Ranching for Profit School is coming to PEI this November!
Join us for an intensive 5-day course from an internationally recognized business management school for ranchers! Learn proven strategies that will boost your profitability and improve your land.

Event Details
- November 16-20, 2026, at the Credit Union Place in Summerside, PE.
- Monday to Thursday from 8am to 5pm, and Friday from 8am to 12pm, with an evening banquet and evening coaching hours available.
About the Ranching for Profit School
The Ranching for Profit School covers a comprehensive range of topics to enhance your ranching business.

Cost
- $4,000 + HST for the first person from a business.
- $3,300 + HST for each additional person from the same business.
- $1,400 + HST for alumni of the school.
A $500 non-refundable deposit is required by July 3 to reserve your spot. See below for registration details.
Full payment is due by September 30th, 2026.

Registration
Register online here, and pay the $500 non-refundable deposit per person by July 3 to reserve your spot. Space is limited!
Payment will be accepted by cheque or E-transfer. E-transfers should be sent to jmurphy@peifa.ca and include RFP and your name/farm in the description. Cheques should be made out to the PEI Federation of Agriculture.
Stay in Summerside
Participants are encouraged to stay in Summerside for the week to fully focus on the school, take advantage of after-hours coaching, and attend the Thursday evening banquet.
Microtel Inn & Suites:
- A block of rooms has been reserved at the Microtel connected to the Credit Union Place.
- Book before October 2, 2026, to receive the group rate: Use this link to book or enter the group code (111626PEI).
- Includes free daily breakfast, free parking, and access to the Credit Union pool facilities.
- Cancellation policy for the Microtel booking is 7 days’ notice.
Funding Available for PEI Producers
Funding is available for Island producers to attend this Ranching for Profit School in PEI.
On-Farm Climate Action Fund Funding: Island producers who register by July 3, 2026, will receive a $1,000 bursary upon completion.
