About OFCAF
The On-Farm Climate Action Fund supports PEI agriculture in adopting beneficial management practices (BMPs) that help mitigate climate change. The program provides financial assistance for practices that reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions or enhance soil carbon sequestration in the following activity areas:
- Cover cropping
- Improving nitrogen management
- Rotational grazing
ELIGIBLE APPLICANTS INCLUDE
- Mi’kmaq First Nations and other Indigenous organizations
- Agricultural producers or producer groups
- Community pastures
